Kissed by City Light

I seek fragments of poetry in the play of light and shadow when I explore the unique urban charm of Chicago. Light rays beam through narrow spaces between high-rises, sun rays filter through the metal structures of L trains and bridges, stray light sparkles in shadows on brick and alley walls and reflects in windows and water.  I create chiaroscuro images where light embraces silhouetted people and buildings and where darkness lays a velvet cover over the chaos, hustle and bustle. The images in the series Kissed by City Light are like the photographer’s words in a love letter to Chicago.
